Dr Cameron Wilson
Lead Veterinarian
Cam joined the team in 2017, having just moved back to Melbourne after working in the UK. He then spent a few years working at our sister clinic Hawthorn East Vets, before coming back to Alphington & Fairfield (sister clinic) as the Lead Veterinarian. Cam works both Alphington and Fairfield Vet and Kew Vet and Cattery. Cam doesn’t have pets of his own at the moment so loves to shower his furry patients with pats and cuddles. Cam has a great interest in medical cases and diagnostics, particularly in dogs and cats suffering from gastrointestinal issues. He is also passionate about pet weight management and the impact of carrying a few extra pounds can have on your pet’s health. While not at work Cam revels outdoors hiking, canyoning, and skiing, or catching up with friends for some unusual board games and beers.

Dr Jessica Riedel
Veterinarian
Jess graduated from James Cook University in 2022 and grew up in Brisbane. She has always had a love for animals, but cats hold a very special place in her heart. At home, she shares life with her two cats, Esmeralda and Noodles, and at work she’s always thrilled to meet new feline patients (she really does love, love, love, love cats!).
Alongside her passion for cats, Jess enjoys all aspects of general practice and is dedicated to making both pets and their owners feel supported. Outside of the clinic, she spends her spare time crocheting and diving into books—usually non-fiction or fantasy

India
Lead Veterinary Nurse
India has been nursing for over five years and has always been passionate about animals from a young age. Her love for all creatures, great and small, led her into a rewarding career in the veterinary industry.
She has a special interest and hands-on experience working with Greyhounds and is the proud owner of one herself — a gentle Greyhound named Belle. At home, India also cares for a unique collection of pets, including a Norwegian Forest Cat named Achilles (who has three legs and no teeth), a variety of fish, stick insects, and a bird named Lemon.
India also has a strong interest in end-of-life care and takes great pride in supporting pets and their families with empathy and compassion during those difficult times.

Evie
Veterinary Nurse
Evie began her vet nursing journey in 2022 and recently completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Growing up in an animal-loving family — with several vets and vet nurses among her relatives — she always knew she wanted to work in the animal industry.
At home, Evie is kept busy by her energetic five-year-old Border Collie, Lola, and her two-year-old cat, Maverick, who lives up to his cheeky ginger reputation.
Outside of work, you’ll often find Evie spending time with friends, soaking up the sun, or planning her next travel adventure.
Lucas
Veterinary Nurse
Lucas has been nursing for two years and has always had a strong passion for animal welfare, having grown up on farms surrounded by animals from a young age. He takes pride in providing high-quality patient care and making a positive impact on both animals and their families.
In the clinic, Lucas focuses on ensuring every patient has the most stress-free and pain-free experience possible while under his care. He also has a special interest in feline medicine and care.
At home, Lucas is kept company by his deaf eight-year-old cat, Shiro, and his 15-year-old Staffy, Lexi.

After an amazing adventure exploring Australia for 12 mths with her family, she has now settled back into work life and loves being part of such a dedicated team. When not at work Marni enjoys remote bush camping with her family and rescue staffy Pepper.

At the beginning of 2025, Gabbie stepped into the role of Practice Manager, where she loves supporting her team to provide the highest standard of care with patience, respect, and genuine compassion.
Gabbie is deeply passionate about the clinic community and feels incredibly grateful to work alongside such a dedicated team and loyal clients who make every day rewarding.
